    Toshiba Canvio Slim II 1TB Portable External Hard Drive, Black (HDTD210XK3E1)

    • Do not get this drive unless you already have good drive-agnostic backup software.
    • I expected it to come with free software upgrades as long as it was supported
    • The backup software is junk.
    • The only negative is the Backup software that comes with it (NTI Backup Now EZ)

    • I used a free software, called SyncBack Free (http://www.2brightsparks.com/freeware/freeware-hub.html).
    • Sure, the software isn't great, but it is very easy to download other great backup programs for free.
    • Also, it comes with a lot of free software, which i don't really use, but it seems like it'd be useful/valuable to a lot of people, so make sure you take note of that

    • To give you an idea, it's just a little bigger than a playing card and about as thick as my phone (Nokia Lumia 920).Performance-wise, it's pretty speedy with USB 3.0 - I transferred 250 GB to it in about an hour, which is a consistent 70 MB/s.
