I recomend to spendt he money for Wireless Hard Drive, not for useless adapters

Pros: Primarily the Wi-Fi feature, status indicators, small size, included power adapter, and convenient to use

The adapter works great if you have a compatible portable Hard Drive or purchase a Toshiba one, but keeping the facts in such small print is just irritating to me, so I have to give it 2 Stars

Once you download the app (Toshiba Wireless Adapter for IOS worked best for me), all you need to do is plug the wireless adapter into a power source, connect your desired flash drive or hard drive, and launch the app

It does not work with this adapter - it is meant for Canvio NAS drives

Oh, there is one irritating facet of using this adapter that I neglected to mention, though it's not the adapter's fault:

This wireless adapter is great

But the inability to transfer existing photos and other media on your phone to the external drive severely limits the usefulness of the wireless adapter

Today I connected the adapter and it prompted me to upgrade the firmware

Out of the box, the adapter did not work with my drive

Once you do these things, the adapter works as advertised

The Toshiba Wireless Adapter is now available in the Apple App Store (rather than the 3rd party software mentioned in previous reviews)

The adapter works well despite the crappy manual.
