In addition, would you really like to have this super cool, futuristic looking rice cooker, that uses "fuzzy logic", over the typical plain looking rice cooker most people have?

Fuzzy logic was definitely being employed here as this Toshiba cleverly adjusts to turn out the perfect bowl every time

It has the latest feature with “fuzzy logic” that many other brands promote

The preset on this unit is 80 minutes but will vary with its fuzzy logic technology, meaning that it will use inbuilt sensors to adjust cook time based on variables like volume of rice, water, and temperature

both Zoji and Toshiba say they use fuzzy logic, but the Toshiba does not vary the cooking time at all.

I wanted a rice cooker with “fuzzy logic” and really trust Toshiba products so this cooker fit my needs

So I was extremely pleased with the rice but feel the manual needs a little more consideration for those of us who are newbies to fuzzy logic cookers
