The thermometer seems reasonably easy to operate, but does not provide an accurate reading.

It has to be very close to the forehead for the reading to be accurate

Before you can use the thermometer on a human it has to sit in the room your taking the temperature for at least 30 minutes and the person and thermometer must be in the same room for at least 10 minutes before using the thermometer for an accurate reading.
