With this model you are getting a model enclosure/shell that is a bit more usable in certain scenarios, but most assumedly is also more durable than the plastic alternatives

I decided tocall the T-Link support line and they suggested trying to connect the cables in various other ways

Worked fine with gigabit Ethernet devices, but not work with 100base-T devices like Steam Link or Amazon’s Fire TV 4K USB Ethernet adapter
