    TP-Link 8 Port Gigabit Ethernet Network Switch | Ethernet Splitter | Sturdy Metal w/Shielded Ports |Plug-and-Play | Traffic Optimization | Unmanaged (TL-SG108)

    • No fan/noise as far as I can tell
    • Docked one star for the noisy fan, I'll eventually replace the fan with an noctua or other good brand
    • If I ever feel that the fan gets louder, there is a quiet fan direct replacement that can be easily swapped out for under $20.I like that fact that I was initially able to just plug and play with the switch
    • No cooling fan, so no noise generated.
    • Only complaint is the internal fan is a little louder than I would have liked (and I have bad hearing).
    • I do like the metal housings better as heat dissipation is better than the plastic units with the loud fans.
    • I had to return the switch as the fan is rather loud and runs at full speed with no load management.

    • The fans are way too loud
    • I use tp link for my unmanaged switches, they run cool (no fan), we will built and sturdy, use almost no power, and are compact
    • The switch I replaced was large and had a semi-loud fan, this one is quiet and functions very well.
    • It works as it should.
    • Works as it should for a 50 foot run.
    • Works perfectly as we needed it to.
    • Downloading somthing fast causes all the other machines connected to this switch to experience extremely slow speeds both to other devices on the network as well as to the internet
    • Works as it should.
    • Are you kidding me - this is about as affordable as you can go before sacrificing quality and functionality
    • Works exactly as
    • Upon initial installation it seemed great and worked exactly as you might expect
