    TP-Link AC1200 Dual Band Router - Wireless AC Router for Home(Archer C50)

    • The signal range seems pretty good.
    • Another key thing to think about is the dual bands on the 5Ghz which means that if you have a lot of devices 20+ you will not have issues with providing good quality service to all of them (this router will help to provide the correct bandwidth to the device when is needed, for instance your phone while your are just web browsing will be in 2.4 mode, but if you are watching a movie it will try to go to 5ghz if the range is good enough, again most people will never notice the difference)
    • It was very easy to setup, has great range and works perfectly with out any problems.

    • Very easy to set up and has a good range
    • If you have many walls, perhaps a repeater will work better, because 5GHz has a far shorter range than 2.4 and doesn’t like walls and any form of liquid in between
    • It is easy to setup, is compact in size, and has great range for the speed it offers
    • It has excellent range and great functionality
    • It had admirable range and throughput, but was becoming hampered by the saturated network
    • Great budget buy for the person who just needs reasonably fast internet service with decent range and a guest network.

    • The range on this router is awesome
    • No dropped connections, easy to setup, good range.
    • Obviously the range is fine since it's only covering a 14x14 area.
    • This router has good range given the space needed to cover isn't larger than around 2,000 sqft home
    • The trick is to connect it in a central location along an inner wall and up high on a shelf, at least 6ft above ground level, that will give you the greatest range from whichever wireless router you decide to purchase.
    • Range seems very good
    • Improved my range and we have clear and consistent reception.
    • But it does have outstanding range distance and reaches quite a good distance around the house -- a feature I did need

    • Limited range
    • I brought along a new extra Archer C50 I had, thinking I might be able to use it as a repeater to enhance the range of his main router
    • When the router did work, its range was average and required frequent rebooting and troubleshooting
    • Range is amazing, but the NVRAM keeps wiping itself
    • The router stopped working after 6-7 months, I can't even connect my tablet or iPad as it keeps losing internet connection due to poor wifi range

    • After reading so many reviews I ended up buying the Google wifi, which I loved and which smoked the above mentioned routers, great range, the mesh system is beyond amazing as I did not have to switch into the extended as the mesh system just simply switched over on its own... however, as perfect or close to perfect the Google router is, it was only giving me 70 percent of my paid for speed... and believe it or not I was fine with that for a while
    • the range is great, speed is unmatched, and setup was very easy.
    • The TP-Link AC3150 covers a very nice range with its four antenna attachment
    • Easy setup, great range (laptop to router is 40-45 feet
    • The range is great and the admin interface is easy to navigate.
    • Overall I think it is a great value option when all you need out of your wifi is the ability to stream video, those looking into gaming via wifi, may want to check out the NetGear NightHawk series as those have higher bandwidth caps and stronger range/signal.
    • Not the best range but overall great for what you pay.
    • Not only that but the range on it was terrible

    • Range is pretty solid, the device is small, it was a breeze to setup and the user interface isn't bad unless you're an advanced user
    • Range is extremely limited

    • Range of the router is VERY good, extending about 10 ft beyond the perimeter of my house
    • Grate range
    • Great router - good range for the price.
    • like I suspected might happen the thing had horrible range (and poor range means far slower speeds even if it is still picked up; 20ft and a few walls was enough to make it dial-up speeds).Overall, for an affordable consumer router, this is a good choice

    • They walked me through another reset and tried to get off the line as fast as they could.
    • I went from a single band to this triple band as well as from a 10Mbit to 100Mbit service
    • I wanted a more reliable 5G wireless connection so I could take advantage of my 155 Mbps internet in my wifi-congested apartment building.2
    • Also 2.4G is useless and overcrowded, 5G is the only band that works perfectly.
    • Even the 2.4G was faster than 5G with MIMO
    • I don't see why ppl will want this C5400 if it doesn't have more features than the competition or equal too in options, the firmware does have its limitations also for the class this router is in also, many other routers in this class have alot more features (bandwidth speed, deep packet inspection, faster USB transfer speed on router ports, 3G/4G USB Dongle and Cloud Managing, just to name a few)
    • sometimes 2.4g will lose network but 5g still works
    • sometimes 2.4g will lose network but 5g still works
