    TP-Link AC1200 Dual Band Router - Wireless AC Router for Home(Archer C50)

    • Pros:-Price-Ease of set up-Speed-ConsistencyCons:-Not as fast as pricier routers (no stars off because it more then maxes out my 75/10 connection)-The "deal" I got appears to have been a permanent price drop
    • Deducting two stars because the "guest network" feature doesn't work if you're using it in Access Point mode
    • Even in the same room my wifi speed is a little more than half (thus why it lost 1 star).
    • Update (9/07/16): Bumped this up to 2 stars since, after troubleshooting the router with TP-LINK customer service (and determining the wireless broadcasting capabilities ceased functioning), they offered to upgrade me to an Archer C5 at no extra cost
    • Where this unit missed the mark and why it isn't receiving 5 stars from me is due to the lag it has on the web interface

    • Overall a good value however 4 stars in place of 5 due to WiFi range
    • I knocked off a star because the speed for the wired connections in the description was not clear, when I tried hardwire to my computer I would only get 100 mbs making them useless to me
    • It has an old tech look about it and is pretty big compared to the aforementioned cheaper router`s, but if you have burn money, then I would recommend this router.
    • Wireless transfers from PC to PC are excellent +100 MB/s, and same external drive to direct PC USB 2 gets
    • Several months now and works as it was on day 1 and Set up was a breeze!. No signal loss or any other issues
    • and I have great WIFI coverage on the first floor of the house as well as in the basement
    • They walked me through another reset and tried to get off the line as fast as they could.
    • I went from a single band to this triple band as well as from a 10Mbit to 100Mbit service
