While I've used Netgear, Buffalo and Linksys products, I prefer TP-Link for its performance, longevity, and warranty (2 years for this product).Highly recommend this product if you want to extend both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands of your wireless network.

Nope, it's a defective product

Seems to work ok with most products, but this was mostly purchased to support some Apple products, which kept dropping the connections.

I let the (good reviews) distract me from the (bad reviews), and there were plenty of those highlighting the same, and other issues (e.g., dropped connections, dead device, poor throughput).Honestly, I expect a lot out of a such an expensive product, but for me, this one didn't deliver, and is not worth keeping, as it's better for me, network performance-wise, to avoid using it all together.

TP-Link is a very reliable company and they make great products, the problem is that you need some previous experience and knowledge to make them work, and even so you might find that the initial setup can be cumbersome

TP-Link makes some good products, but the wireless extender is not one of the better products.
