So far so good, super easy setup - has really improved the coverage on the far side of the house from my main router.

Bought it to add a computer in an area with poor wifi coverage, worked great once I upgraded the firmware

Wi-Fi is now extended to the area in my home, in full strength, where the coverage was very weak.

The report from my father (this was a gift to him), he's now got coverage in the loft, improved signal around the house, and has not seen any sort of slowed functionality for other devices streaming media as he feared.

Better than a previous model and actually extended my wifi to outdoors with excellent coverage.

They are configured with the same SSID and password so basically they just provide great coverage

Now the back yard has excellent coverage everywhere

While the setup was rather easy, the extender never provided the extra & CONSISTENT WIFI coverage that I was looking for

I set it up (which wasn’t easy) and found that, while it does extend the network, when I’m connected to the extension the speed drops so dramatically it’s almost as unusable as without it.

In repeater mode, the 5G and 2.4G work fine

This extender was placed roughly at the 1/3 point (closer to the wireless origin) and I get good 2.4G signal (vs.1-2bars without) but not working well with the 5G network on the other end of the unit.

The 5g network (which should not be available since my router doesn't have a 5g channel) connects just fine, but the connection strength is abysmal; the same strength as the original network

the 5G band never stays on, I have reset it couple of times and it works fine every time for a day, and then only the 2.4G stays on, 5 G never works!

The PC did not have a 5g capable wifi card and this option was cheaper than buying a new one
