This is a great router for the price

If this problem was fixed, it'd be a great wi-fi router.

That said, this router is probably fine for casual use, like one or two computers, or a smart phone hooked up to it

It leads me to believe that this router has hardware problem ( because even with fresh configuration and firmware, it just craps out ).This is highly unfortunate,,, also when I go visit its website, it is not clear how I can claim my warranty and replace this faulty router

Router worked fine until we got more devices

It works really good, installation is pretty easy and the connection is as smooth as your normal router

Instead I was sent one that isn't supported by DD WRT, and now I have a useless router

Really a quite solid router for the price.

However, it still frequently looses the wi-fi connection with all devices, so that's how I know the router is the culprit & not my devices

Yet, for those users who wish for a very good basic router at a good price, this could be your solution.

i did this speed test on my android phone and the signal was even weaker then my original router.

This router supposedly supports up to 300 mbps.

Really pleased that this inexpensive router is still available.

It isn't a terrible router for $20, and can handle quite a few wireless connections, but Ethernet speeds are capped at 100Mbps (see uploaded image), so it will slow down your Internet speeds unless you have a slow connection to begin with

Now I have to buy a better router and eat the cost of this device or risk abandonment by my loved ones

This router makes a loud, high pitched whining noise that is indescribably annoying.

The other 2% of the time, I think its the main router (TP Link Archer C9 V1)'s fault

Range is not excellent as well as the connection quality/speed but for the price paid for this extender, its actually cheaper to buy a cheap router and add this product to cover the poor signal spots in your home.

The router also works fine with multiple devices connected through the router by Ethernet and Wi-Fi

I would spend an extra $10 on a better router if your internet is faster than 100 Mbps, however, if it isn’t, then this will work fine

Just be aware if you use it as a repeater (vs AP), try not to use the highest signal strength level because it can interfere with you router.
