    • It's just a really great device.
    • The device works fine even when the management interface has crashed, but without that interface it's hard to troubleshoot problems when you're miles away and your family's asking questions about the Internet
    • Works fine for normal use, but seems to have issues with some of my smart devices
    • Will update if they butcher the process, but thus far it's been a reliable device until it wasn't and the manufacturer appears to be making that right.
    • I believe I received a defective device and will try again this afternoon
    • but I think the firmware is open source and someone is hacking these devices for personal gain of gathering a scope of customer base and surveilling its users
    • Excellent device, works well with wowway, no problems at all.
    • I can only imagine how my other devices in the other room are fairing
    • everyone connected to the internet, I started to try to put other devices like my NAS server and IP cameras online with the new router.
    • It handled multiple devices well, without a drop in speed
    • I took the splitter out and the device connected no problem.
    • The device wasn't defective, it just did work poorly with Xfinity
    • This device was very easy to set up
    • My Comcast salesman recommended this device, and it has been nothing but frustrating
    • I am glad I did since I have several devices at home 10+ and they work effortlessly even with the lowest bandwidth
    • Wireless works perfectly with my Smart TV, PC's/laptops and Android devices.
    • All capable devices can use the newer high speed protocall, saving bandwidth on the 2.4 ghz network.2
    • The device worked but in the configuration when clicking to configure UPNP settings the device would freeze and you would have to disconnect power source in order to reboot
    • Device works intermittently, wifi signal transmitted is unstable between 5g and 2.4g signals on both side bands.
    • It has clean power through a UPS as well as most other devices connected to it
    • So far, I highly recommend this device without reservation.
    • The device worked but in the configuration when clicking to configure UPNP settings the device would freeze and you would have to disconnect power source in order to reboot
    • This shows how unstable the device is in its connection is to the testing server and how much information is dropped when communicating.
    • The more I thought about the convenience of only having 1 device to babysit, the more I liked the idea of getting this
    • many wi-fi enabled smart devices in the home, and it worked fine for everything except my wi-fi enabled robot vacuum (Neato Botvac D3)
    • many wi-fi enabled smart devices in the home, and it worked fine for everything except my wi-fi enabled robot vacuum (Neato Botvac D3)
    • My full-time job is information security incident response; and while I hope this doesn't happen, I can see a security issue being found in this or any router/modem combo down the road and cable providers will not be timely in their response and pushing of patches (i.e. new firmware) to customers using these devices.
    • That’s never been needed with the CR700.The CR700’s internal router is dual band (simultaneous 2.4 & 5 GHz operation), Wi-Fi handles both legacy & Next-Gen 802.11ac devices, beam forming targets active devices increasing range/coverage, has 4 1-Gigabit LAN ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports (Folder Sharing & Print Server), Parental Controls, WPS push button easy device connection, separate Wi-Fi Guest Networks, Firewall & the other advanced features normally associated with high-end AC1750 routers
    • Excellent device, works well with wowway, no problems at all.
    • After spending at least 2 hours with tech support for TWC & TP-Link both support teams agreed the device was defective
    • :- Been running since March 2017 without issue- Has supported upto 7 devices at a time
    • For those who do not require "port forwarding", "DNS customization", or, "Firmware upgrading", this device will probably work very well for you.
    • If you want to restrict a device in parental control, for some reason it restricts ALL HTTPS sites in addition to your blacklist term or sites
    • However, this device barely hangs on and sometimes, we do lose signal in the bedroom
    • The interface doesn't just hang, it crashes the entire device
    • First, Comcast didn't have it on their approved devices list, and when I finally got it activated, it drops the internet connection multiple times per day and can only be fixed by manually rebooting the device
    • But for such an expensive device you'll probably want something that doesn't freeze when using a basic feature
    • 3 different devices having the same error
    • My device stopped working 9 months in
    • The device is great when everything
    • I usually don't like most "all-in-one" products, because they usually don't do all things as well as separate devices, so I wasn't sure how much I'd like this
    • We had to purchase a new router since our old router seem to not be able to support all the devices we have, especially when streaming video
    • This modem/router goes into a sleep mode and bumps devices off all the time
    • As far as internet connection, surfing, loading videos and pages it is extremely worse than my supposedly far less superior old devices
    • I LOVE THIS DEVICE!
    • I've tested my AC WiFi capable devices and on some devices like my Lenovo Horizon 2S I get a whopping 200Mbps of WiFi speed via large downloads.
    • and you lost the first device you've configured.3
    • If your a simple streamer, this device is fantastic!I have not had any real issues with my cable modem router
    • As well other WiFi devices I
    • To me, this is a very expensive device
    • The device has not failed me at all except when COX isn't sending it a signal, and I could not be more pleased with it.
    • In conclusion, in general this device was easy to set up and use for Time Warner Cable
    • This device is specifically supported by Time Warner Cable (as well as others)
