    • Despite waiting for Cox to approve this modem, I decided to go ahead and review it, anyway, pending said approval
    • I haven't had a modem, router, switch or any other piece of networking equipment just die on me in
    • When the modem is working properly it works great but with the constant network drops and inability to access a fundamental feature such as the Port forwarding makes this modem less than adequate
    • I have Comcast as my internet supplier, and have always rented a modem from them, although I don't trust them enough to use their routers
    • Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a reliable modem.
    • The TP-LINK Archer CR700 is a nice modem/router combo if you're looking for some convenience

    • Ultra high speed modem; wireless range is limited by line of sight, but this is STILL a powerful modem/router.
    • If you need a basic modem router and do not want to any port forwarding settings then this modem works well enough; however, even browsing to port forwarding in the Web interface and the modem freezes and e quirks a reboot.
    • This modem is great and has a stronger wi-fi signal than the original Comcast one
    • But I think the company needs to allow them to replace the failed modem without requiring the customer to spend weeks collecting screen shots and responding to questions.

    • Something was obviously wrong so when I called TWC, they noticed my modem and router were not capable to handle the free boosted speeds
    • There were no installation issues, no dispute on me using this modem and no network errors

    • It works faster then the Comcast Wifi Modem router that I was replacing but video casting from my Surface to my ROKU does not work, I verified that other users of this Wifi Router are having the same problem, along with not being able to cast with Chromecast
    • its not fixed yetgo to advanced - nat - port forwarding, will freeze the modem making the internet not work as well.you will need to be unplugged from the wall and back in to get it to work
    • You have to tell them to disable the wifi and the modem on their modem (most likely a ubee box)
    • The modem freezes up every time you try and set up port forwarding

    • If you require the “Address Reservation” feature right now you can still use the CR700 by setting it up to work as a modem only

    • I was given this info: "Firmware updates for the Archer CR700 (and all DOCSIS compliant modems and modem router devices) are performed by the ISP; there is no firmware update available for download on our website because DOCSIS compliance requires the ISP to perform the update

    • The modem is very fast with my Mediacom 200Mbs service
    • So now my modem dies and has to be restarted if I so much as breathe on the Port Forwarding option in the configuration (I need port forwarding because I run three servers on my network).So, like I said, it's an awesome product as long as it's not running firmware v1.0.3.

    • By 7am 12/12/15 my modem no longer supported any internet
    • Modem worked great in the begining for about the first 3 months and after now having the modem for about 8 month total now
    • If you are NOT looking to use the parent controls, this was a great modem/router combination and was easy to activate with Comcast online
