    • The CR700 firmware release I tested didn’t yet support DHCP “Address Reservation”
    • The administration page for the local network has a local DHCP range, but it does not allow for static dhcp reservations like most other routers do, which means that you can't set specific IPs for devices
    • The second problem is that it lacks DHCP address reservation
    • It is absurd that this modem/router combo does not support address reservation, which give you capability to assign fixed internal ip to connected device

    • I also used wifi analyzer apps to determine the best channel(s) to manually select in order to reduce/eliminate contention
