The CR700 firmware release I tested didn’t yet support DHCP “Address Reservation”

The administration page for the local network has a local DHCP range, but it does not allow for static dhcp reservations like most other routers do, which means that you can't set specific IPs for devices

The second problem is that it lacks DHCP address reservation

It is absurd that this modem/router combo does not support address reservation, which give you capability to assign fixed internal ip to connected device

It remained compatible when the local cable changed from Time Warner to Spectrum and the base speeds adjusted from 20mb/s to

I also used wifi analyzer apps to determine the best channel(s) to manually select in order to reduce/eliminate contention

Can't do that as I often work from home!

When it does work I guess it works as

Support sucks as the just email you with little help

Works good, but sometimes it got its moment of don't want to work as fast as it should be
