The TP-LINK Archer CR700 is a nice modem/router combo if you're looking for some convenience

Good router and wifi, web interface is fine, not really self explanatory.

Terrible router

This is not up to part with other great routers, UI is good, product is easy to configure but it lock easy to used advanced settings, also it not easy to fine firmware updates, the price it high for what your getting, I was expecting more reliable, better advanced settings accessible.

I used to try and get the cheapest router out there to save money.

The TP-Link Archer CR700 combines a high speed cable modem and a very capable wireless router in one package

I get almost no connection at about 40 feet away going through one wall only the 5g connection is generally worse than the lower band I have a PC as well in same room as the router and it's already losing one bar of strength at less than 15 feet away in the same exact room with no wall in between

The combined modem and wireless router works like a charm.

The router is fast, takes up little room, and has not failed me once.

When you enter advanced mode and try to configure NAT/Port Forwarding, the router freezes up.

Midcontinent doesn't support this model as a modem/router in one, so I just used my old router.

The wireless router is also faster, as the name AC1750 implies.3

This router has worked for us and we haven't had any issues with streaming video on any of our devices.

This is NON-Technical review for those who are considering top-end cable modem/router

It's not a good router if you want to have a home wi-fi network that connects with things like thermostats, printers, pc's or TVs, or anything really.

This router was excellent for exactly one month (conveniently until the return window closed on Amazon...) before it started to sputter

It's a good router marred by some spotty firmware

Worst Router EVER!!!

Router is VERY SLOW

Very good router, although still not the range I wish it had I expect it's my fault not the router as I'm renting a 2000sqft house arranged like an L where the router is not at the corner, and I live in the opposing limb

The router seems to be fairly good but every once in a while I lose connectivity or that there are pauses with the Internet Connectivity that maybe associated with this wireless router

It works good as a cable modem; however, as a wireless router, it drops connection constantly every day, either 2.4G or 5G band.

The router worked fantastically for around 10 hours

I have not noticed any connection issues, nor have I noticed any greater coverage that my previous wireless router.

If you are NOT looking to use the parent controls, this was a great modem/router combination and was easy to activate with Comcast online

I really liked the router otherwise, but it did not work for me.

It works far better than the Arris cable modem / wireless router (both as a modem and as a wireless router) that I got from Time Warner

As soon as the router was ready, I opened a browser page, which was automatically redirected to the Comcast activation web-site.
