    TP-Link AV1000 Powerline Ethernet Adapter - Gigabit Port, Plug&Play, Power Saving(TL-PA7010 KIT)

    • I was a little bit skeptical of this approach, but needed to extend wired Ethernet to two corners of my house that are not pragmatic to reach with CAT5, and these were relatively cheap and boasted strong reviews
    • Very important bit of information completely missing from the sale page.
    • The package was torn and the included Ethernet cables had been bunched with someones used wire bread ties and smudged a bit
    • WiFi is a bit weak getting from one side of the house where the server and WiFi router is located to the other side.
    • Very important bit of information completely missing from the sale page.
    • and it's quite a bit slower than just stringing a 100ft ethernet cable through the house all the way back to the garage
    • It was lagging a bit while streaming HD video via WiFi on my smart TV
    • The signal for my downstairs tv was always a bit unreliable because the router and tv are on opposite sides of the house
    • I was worried this wouldn't work b/
    • Works perfectly, it feels like both are plugged to the same router using an Ethernet cable, not the garbage I had with the Wireless network, however not everything is perfect, there are two power strips that didn't work with this device, one is this: Belkin BE112230-08 12-Outlet Surge Protector, is a shame because to it I have connected all my gaming consoles and I really want it there, but well I already free up an outlet near the TV so the next units arriving will be plugged there, so I will replace the Laptops and Living room devices connectivity from Wireless to Powerline
