This handy device allowed me to set up a range extender in the basement of my house where Wi-Fi reception was poor from the router located on the 2nd floor
-
I was getting a "No device found" error.
-
Doesn't matter how good your device is, if the cables are bad, it will suffer
-
On the strength of the well designed devices and ease of use, I give it 5 stars.
-
additionally I unplugged the Av500 Nano and repaired them check all devices that could create interference (Motor'd devices) or devices that could throw interference back down the AC line, should be good
-
Great little device.
-
This device is great.
-
Amazing device
-
These are the most amazing devices
-
Great device does exactly what I needed it to do
-
This device is great so far
-
Much better than the AV 200 as interference (high current loads on the same circuit/dirty power) don't completely disable the device, requiring an unplug and replug
-
Cool device, good
-
Great device
-
The product itself is a great device when it works
-
Awesome device, super easy to set up and surprisingly steady and fast connection
-
My brother-in-law was telling me about these magical devices that turn your house's electrical wiring into a wired network.
-
Great little device
-
I plugged in both units, turned my device on and it worked as if it was hard-wired to an Ethernet cable
-
Excellent device for adding internet to areas of your home that has poor wifi reception or for use on devices that don't support wifi
-
CAT 5 is capable of only 10/100 speeds yet the device is capable of up to 500
-
amazing little device.
-
I set up devices on all 3 floors with no hassle and very fast
-
The device worked well as per the instructions.
-
In sure this is a limitation my my house wiring as much as the device, but don't expect these to magically solve all wifi problems.
-
The device installed easily and worked
-
This device works perfectly for my purpose
-
After running speed tests and watching some videos for the last 15 minutes, device is working great
-
This device also does not work with any kind of extended power adapter
-
Not, this devices fault
-
So what gives? The thing is that, besides the occasional hardware defects which are covered under warranty ( TP-Link offers 2 years, while most others offer one year), because Powerline uses your existing home electrical wiring for transmitting network data its performance is impacted by the following factors:- Electrical interference from other noisy electrical devices like microwaves, radios or from your local sub-station
-
But I love these devices to get a secure home network
-
This device was very easy to install and it met my needs.
-
You then plug the second device in a wall outlet elsewhere in the home, and connect your computer, smart TV, or other device via ethernet cable to it.
-
Certain devices on your electricity network can interrupt the signal..AC or a fridge, big motors!Do not plug this into a surge protector, but straight into the wall or and extension cord
-
The devices work, but no where near the potential thus advertised
-
We have a device capable of transmitting 500Mbps over the powerline and that device has a 10/100Mbps ethernet port
-
I have used this device for myself, family members and also recommended to a few friends and has been always good, great solution to bring wired network when WiFi signal is week or for better and stable communication between the device and the internet
-
Great device
-
The device would show good but keep dropping out
-
The device works, but I bought it because I would randomly get kicked off my wifi in my
-
All-in-all it is a great device.
-
This device works by sending internet signals over the house wiring
-
This device has solved my problem
-
These are not small devices, and they work best when plugged directly into the wall, not a power strip
-
I love devices that are well thought out like this.
-
It is worth noting that some devices (such as cheap 3rd party laptop chargers) will cause interference on the line, which will interfere with these devices and slow them down to a crawl, the link goes to full speed once the interfering device is unplugged so its pretty easy to find the interference (usually in the same room).
-
Helps keep unnecessary devices off the wifi and delivers faster speeds than I would get if they were connected to wifi
-
When I connected the devices into my power outlets, the devices found each other and worked as expected

-
This is a nifty device if you're looking to extend your hardwired connection to another location of your house
-
No problem syncing devices.
-
This little device works amazing!
-
Edit: reducing rating by two stars, devices are no longer reliable, frequently dropping connection for several minutes at a time or until units have power reset
-
I wanted to change that and found this incredible device
-
I've now used them successfully with Apple's Airport Express, as well as with D-Link and Foscam cameras that have ethernet ports
-
I didn't think this would work :D
-
Works perfectly, it feels like both are plugged to the same router using an Ethernet cable, not the garbage I had with the Wireless network, however not everything is perfect, there are two power strips that didn't work with this device, one is this: Belkin BE112230-08 12-Outlet Surge Protector, is a shame because to it I have connected all my gaming consoles and I really want it there, but well I already free up an outlet near the TV so the next units arriving will be plugged there, so I will replace the Laptops and Living room devices connectivity from Wireless to Powerline
