    TP-Link AV1000 Powerline Ethernet Adapter - Gigabit Port, Plug&Play, Power Saving(TL-PA7010 KIT)

    • Good speed (double the wifi speed)
    • I think I'm getting slower speeds with this over the same exact house wiring.
    • If you have any questions or comments, please let them below!**UPDATE 6/25/17**I have figured out a way to gain about 16 mbps download speed (on average).I have two power outlets near my PC
    • Been using for 3 months, the speed and lagging was good, but the internet would go down a few minutes most likely every 2 hours
    • and now I can benefit the higher internet speeds that I pay for.
    • Speed is great.
    • I have 3 in my house and get really good speed with them
    • We ended up buying a switch and running a 50ft cable around the room, and now she is getting the proper speeds & bandwidth.
    • Easy set up and works fine speed-wise but would occasionally disconnect for a couple minutes every few hours
    • I kept doing lots of different tests and my connection is rock solid with top speeds now
    • Turns out the culprit was the powerline adapter, as I could be in the middle of a speed test with it connected and speeds would soar one it was unplugged, then fall rapidly once plugged back in
    • The Wifi is usually great, but my current place has a lot of concrete walls, which kills signal/speed
    • I'm now playing with 20 ping, no lag whatsoever, and reasonable download speeds
    • I spoke to an engineering supervisor there, when I called about the slow speeds I was getting, and he admitted that it was all a lie
    • Only plug directly into the wall outlet for fastest speeds, FYI.
    • Despite the slower speed, it gets the job done.
    • Very slow speeds when connected.
    • This device allowed me to have good internet everywhere inside my home, with extremely low latency, great speed and low cost
    • My wifi never worked well in my room due to the walls diminishing the signal before it reached my computer, but with plug and play my internet now works at fast speeds
    • I recently purchased some outdoor security cameras and had tremendous issues due to randomly occurring spans of abysmal upload speeds <1Mbps even directly connected to the modem via Ethernet on a plan supposedly giving me 20Mbps... while download speeds were fine (105Mbps+ on the same device)
    • Good speed, no messing with tech support
    • Increased speed for my son's gaming-he loves it!
    • Sometimes when other devices are connected to wifi, the speed of game will slow down/lag, but that's because streaming Netflix or videos on 2-3 other devices via wifi
    • The top speed it will ever attain in an absolutely "perfect" environment is 100mbps as that is the maximum rated speed for the network port on the device that connects to your PC/Hub/Switch.
    • is fine(being using the same one last 3 years), the speed is stable
    • Bad connection speed however
    • Before I had to share my wifi speed with my family, so when all they were connected to the network, the speed was to slow, but with this product I'm connected directly to the router, so the speed is faster
    • No packet loss, decent enough speed, and enough bandwidth for video streaming, casual downloads, and even for shooting uncompressed HD video from an antenna tuner box to a TV.
    • These are a must have when setting up your home internet and provide the stability and fast speeds that often are tempormental when using WiFi.
    • Totally annoying and slow game speeds
    • I get a much more consistent speed and connection than i ever did over WiFi
    • Super slow speeds around 1 mb down whereas my usb WiFi gets 80 mb down in same location.
    • The speed is a huge improvement over wifi, and the PS4 and computers work great over it.
    • And low and behold, I started achieving perfect speeds of 71 mbps download and 6 mbps upload (which is my maximum speed when directly connected on my 60/5 internet connection).I was very pleased, but skeptical
    • While these work for what I need them for (Ethernet hard-wire for my work phone), they slow speeds considerably
    • Doesn't provide consistent speed.
    • Very easy to set up and good speed.
    • It's been years since i have fast internet speed with my PC @ upstairs office
    • I have adequate internet speed but with electronics there are sometimes slowdowns in transmission.
    • My range did not improve and I lost speed
    • I believe this is the reason for the slow connection speed
    • This did drag my speed down to 20.
    • I installed the TP Link AV600 power line adapter to boost up my internet speed as recommended by my ATT rep who came to my home to troubleshoot slow internet speed.
    • and I had faster speed
    • Speed could be better, but my speeds are because I am so far away
    • That is until a year or so ago when I upgraded to xfinity X1, which came with a package deal to boost my speed to 105 Mbps and a DHG536 modem
    • So be very sure that you run multiple tests and check multiple outlets to find the best connection speed
    • This product installed in seconds and improved my speeds enough to allow me to play online games with no lag
    • Speed is fine.
    • The best speed (from speedtest.net
    • It was easy to install (clear directions) and improved internet speed.
    • Great price and shipping speed.
    • it gets decent download/upload speed and has solved my problem!Very happy with the product, it is a great solution to not be taping cables all around the house
    • The only downside to this product is the speed, you will not get the speed of using an ordinary ethernet cable directly plugged into your modem
    • Internet upload speeds perform the same as over ethernet but download dropped about 30% at some of the hubs (but still very consistent speeds).
    • It gives enough speed that movies aren't laggy
    • The speeds are great when you're in the room with the router
    • however, i was attempting to boost my speeds and get off wireless and this worked...
    • This gets pretty poor connection speed.
    • Once I am sure the extender has good signal and good connection speed
    • Speed is sufficient to stream 4K video with zero lag.
    • The setup is very simple and the speed very respectable
    • These things got me great speed where I couldn't get internet before
    • And has quite a good speed to boot
    • Reasonable price and great speed.
    • You have to be willing to tinker with your connections to get the best speeds
    • The speed I got with this were incredibly slow.
    • Would recommend this for those who game to get better speeds
    • Speed on it is fantastic too
    • I installed the TP Link AV600 power line adapter to boost up my internet speed as recommended by my ATT rep who came to my home to troubleshoot slow internet speed.
    • It barely improved my speeds and sometimes even was slower than wireless.
    • Other people got pretty decent speed
    • Easy plug and play setup, boosted my internet speeds considerably
    • Massive improvement in speed vs wifi (maybe 3x - 4x faster speeds!).
    • and I got decent speeds for a local file transfer and download speeds same as on
    • you'll find plenty of 'Best thing ever!' reviews (like mine here) and then plenty of 'Did not work, horrible speed' One star reviews
    • For all my devices and multiple wireless networks I get really good speeds
    • Used to get faster speeds and prevent lagging on the PS4
    • While these work for what I need them for (Ethernet hard-wire for my work phone), they slow speeds considerably
    • I want faster speeds downstairs so i will settle with WiFi speeds.
    • I had horrific wifi speeds (3-5 mbps), and now that I have a "direct connection" to the router, I'm getting 65 mbps!!
    • The speed is not as promised and it does drop connections often
    • Apparently GFCI breakers (normally in bedrooms) interfere and will cause slower speeds than advertised.
    • So, the "theoretical" connection speed is 500 Mbps, with a bunch of qualifications regarding reasons why the speed may be less than that, and one huge qualification that isn't mentioned anywhere in the listing is that the adapter itself limits the connection speed to 100 Mbps (one fifth of the advertised speed!).
    • Its ok, speeds are good but i have to power it off and on monthly or my
    • But no matter what combination of plugs I used to span the distance I needed, I couldn't get faster speeds.
    • Even in my house across circuits I get great speed
    • No packet loss, decent enough speed, and enough bandwidth for video streaming, casual downloads, and even for shooting uncompressed HD video from an antenna tuner box to a TV.
    • Before I had to share my wifi speed with my family, so when all they were connected to the network, the speed was to slow, but with this product I'm connected directly to the router, so the speed is faster
    • Give me great internet speed for gaming!
    • you can daisy chain them for long runs to help if you have drops or slow speeds
    • so i'm slightly disappointed as that is around 1/9th of my actual top internet speed.
    • TGP Link AV600 powerline adapter did not improve my internet speed one iota.
    • But don't misunderstand, power line adapters do not increase the speed of your Internet, they simply provide an alternative to wifi for compatable devices in case your wifi is slower than your internet or doesn't reach far enough.
    • My speeds actually got slower with this thing.
    • I get good speeds and everything--good enough for gaming, streaming, and so forth
    • I bought this item thinking that it would boost my internet speed, which it should
    • The speed for the ps4 improved somewhat, from 10 MB to 13 with a max of 20 MB(our area sucks
    • If you are intending to use one of these adapters with more than one computer, anticipate slow speeds
    • so I was skeptical, but it was so easy to use and the speeds are good enough
    • My wireless on either AC or N bands were not providing my desktop with enough speed in my bedroom
    • Great connectivity and speed
    • While my speed didn’t necessarily get faster per say I did get rid of my lag spikes from my WiFi extender
    • this up if you need better but not amazing internet speeds to a device that doesn't get a good WIFI signalall in all I am happy because while I'm not getting the advertised speeds this more than meets my requirements of it and didn't require me to run any wires.
    • Thought this product would help improve her speed, but the best we can get is 30 Mbps.
    • Son finds that the wifi is giving his laptop better speed than his desktop connected to this thing.
    • Surprisingly great network speeds from this and very easy to set up.
    • Very slow speed.
    • The speed is great - I've never experienced any lag or ping spikes as a result of this product
    • Anyway, it does work very well as stated just be warned with older wiring, you won't get lightning fast speeds
    • As someone who was used to the superior speed and stability of a wired connection, I was pretty frustrated, until finding out about this option.
    • Whenever we use more than one device connected to a switch, the speed is quite slow
    • If you are lucky and the system works you can get good speed
    • If your powerline adapters are on the same phase pair, you will get good speed.
    • Speed wise, i'm getting about 90 mbps on a 100 mbps connection at the source 100 feet away, which is not bad at all.
    • Easy to set up, great speed and very happy someone designed this adapter!!
    • This hooked up quickly and gave me slightly better speeds on my Xbox
    • Bought this for my ps4 which didn't have a great upload and download speed.
    • This product linked up correctly, but I get faster speeds wireless 20mps and hard wired through this
    • Helps keep unnecessary devices off the wifi and delivers faster speeds than I would get if they were connected to wifi
    • The powerline adapter definitely helps, it is a huge improvement, but the overall speed is still not great
    • PROS-Very easy to set up, just press a button-You can put it anywhere with a plug-delivers adaquate speeds-you can add more than two units to a systemCONS-the further away the units, the slower the speed-you cannot put it on a power stripOverall a great product if you are looking to boost your home network.
    • Very reliable and great speed
    • I've been using it for 2 years, and I would always get questionable speeds.
    • but I was (and am until it's returned) getting slower speeds than I am with a wireless adapter.
    • Disappointing speed.
    • Works, but speeds are limited by electrical wiring.
    • You lose speed if distance is far (or if the building is old)3
    • I should get pretty good speeds from that
    • Very agile internet speeds
    • I was getting terrible wifi speeds before
    • Able to stream HD movies without any issues over them, so the speed is decent.
    • I would suggest plugging in one and then try different outlets to see where you get the best speeds and build around that
    • I pay for top speed internet for gaming purposes.
    • So the max realizable speed you will see with this powerline system is 100 Mbps
    • Greatest thing ever, no cords and fantastic speeds
    • Works great and speeds are excellent!
    • Not blazing speeds but halfway decent speed/reliability.
    • Speed is where it really disappointed.
    • The problem with this is you may or may not get a reliable speed depending on which circuit you are on and what types of appliances or machines are connected to the outlets
    • I am not seeing the full speed of what they list, but it's still plenty suitable for our needs
    • yes they are CAT5 and will limit higher bandwidth connections, but with our slow rural provider speeds being limited to 100 Mbps is equivalent to saying that a 50 foot ceiling limits how high I can jump.
    • Quick version: These adapters caused electrical interference that randomly dumped my speeds to a small fraction of what they should have been
    • If someone has complaints about a poor transmission speed, you are looking at the wrong culprit by looking at the powerline adaptor & only blaming it
    • I tested them first on the same breaker with pretty consistent 85Mbps download speeds (the service provided in my area is pretty weak at 100Mbps)
    • so I thought it would be fine, but something is clearly wrong since the top speed I got was 56 even though I get 200 through wireless.
    • Great product, if it doesn't limit your speeds
    • Increased my up/download speeds on my rig, which is too far away from the router to normally get optimal speeds
    • Such a pain to find a power outlet dedicated to this pair of adapters, only to get much worse speeds anyway
    • Speed is great, but cuts out far to frequently for gaming due to this interference
    • It does lose speed in my case -- seems to be about 4x slower than my parent network, but that probably depends on how the power grid in your home is laid out
    • Not as fast as wireless connection these days - but usually you don't need super high speeds in most situations anyhowx2 Cat 5 ethernet cables included, should have been at least Cat 5e (tech speak, but Cat 5e should be equivelant to this devices specs)Not a very good explanation on what a "Secure" network setup vs just plugging them in and letting them go on their ownStory below:Bought these due to the
    • * I could snag my full speed because it's an obsession with me
    • Speed has not been an issue.
    • Boosted my speed in my room, no more problems on my PS4.
    • Don’t get fooled by the shiny theoretical speeds, it can say 1000
    • The speed for networking is great and it's has never disconnected
    • Although advertised on the box and on Amazon that the speeds can reach up to 500Mbps, the port is a 10/100, already limiting the speeds there
    • Maintained good signal quality and speed through the AC ground.
    • With these, I lost speed, but I got pretty much wired LAN reliability.
    • So far, this one has worked perfectly with no loss of connection and improved speed.
    • I call shenanigans!OK it works and at 3x the speed of the range extender
    • Its enough speed to stream
    • in case anyone is interested, other outlets further away from my computer also gave me top speeds
    • and I don't lose any internet speed at all
    • Also, there are multiple wifi signals nearby and the interference also makes it difficult to get good speeds (though they auto-select channels, etc, there are still limited number of channels)
    • Easy to connect and setup, and fast speed
    • Great Powerline network kit, not the fastest speed though.
    • Older wiring in home as well and the speeds I'm getting are more than acceptable.
    • I get a consistent 147mb/s connection
    • I've now used them successfully with Apple's Airport Express, as well as with D-Link and Foscam cameras that have ethernet ports
    • I didn't think this would work :D
