The signal is sufficient to give me about 30mb/s -- enough to stream HD on Youtube without a problem

As for the downsides: the firmware lacks a few valuable features such as captive portal functionality and hostname configuration, the wired ports are only 10/100Base-T, and troubleshooting usually boils down to performing a factory reset and trying again

it is also highly misleading as it is constrained by the FCC guidelines for how much power it can put out by federal law
