    • The design of the freaking device is beautiful
    • This device was easy to set up.
    • If you don’t normally run fast internet, then this is a good device for the money, but if you prefer faster speeds then I would recommend something else

    • Great device for the price
    • Kept turning "No Internet access" as soon as I skyped with my friends or launched Steam, not only the computer lost Internet access, but all the devices that connected to the extender will be unable to connect to the Internet, I don't know what the heck was wrong with this particular extender, but I will not buy this scrap again.
    • every few weeks.- Single band is starting to get more interference issues nowadays considering the heavy traffic (wifi/microwaves/wireless phones and other devices in apartments)- not a fan of the look/color of the routerOverall:Very solid device for the cost and will save you money
    • It would probably work better with Ethernet cable connected to it to extend the network by creating a new WiFi for the living room but definitely not an idle device for wireless signal boosting attempt
    • your case is close to #3 (connecting to main wireless router via 5G or 2.4G and then connecting a physical device), I wholeheartedly recommend this device.

    • It worked great for about a week then my devices kept losing signal completely
    • I now use it as an Ethernet switch and for smart home devices that don’t use much bandwidth
    • It is great for static devices (e.g. desktops) because if you move around with your phone for example, your phone will try to connect to the extender even when you’re inches from the actual/main router
    • It has dual band to select from, I currently have 4 devices connected to it and all devices are working great
    • This device was easy to install and worked perfectly ... at first.

    • I read a review of these (not on Amazon) and the review said for the price these work as well or better than more expensive devices.
    • This device is not usable, while the signal is strong, when connected to the extender the internet is soo slow that I can barely pull up webpages, let alone watch any movies or do anything else.
    • This device is very affordable, and it does work.
    • Replaced the old device, and things work fine again.
    • Device works as advertise.
    • This device is not user friendly and would not function with my internet provider
    • Our devices would disconnect and have to reconnect to the Extender, it was not seamless as you moved away from your router and towards the extender
    • If you are a parent looking for a router that you can easily secure your kids devices, I would NOT recommend buying this one.
    • If you know how to connect to a WiFi network or have ever ha to access your router to rename a network, you should be able to set this device up no problem

    • and I didn't want to be stuck with a useless device I'd have to lug around.
    • I purchased and installed this device (small, cheap, easy to install, and recommended by Wirecutter) and it SLOWED network performance greatly, and sometimes stopped it completely
    • After that my devices automatically connected to the old network which was a pain but this works as described
    • This device is unstable.

    • Not as useful as expected, mayb my network, maybe the device.

    • but then I started having trouble locating my smart devices with their app
    • Every corner of the house has wifi and this device is installed in the basement and it boosted wifi even on the second floor
    • Easy to work setup menus, once connected the device works fine with latency and speed test results comparable to my 5G wireless gaming laptop and 1,000 Kbps Ethernet hardwire
    • I tried using the same network name (SSID) but realized some devices don't automatically switch to higher signal network unless they lose signal on what they're already connected to or the signal gets really low so I would recommend using a different SSID for the extender
    • Although this device is super easy to set up and it worked great for the 1st couple months.
    • Confused devices while keeping same wifi name and password
