What a great purchase, effortlessly extended my wifi for a really reasonable price

Setup was easy by simply pressing and holding the wps button and doing the same on my router down stairs

Came with an older firmware that did not support working as a range extender, so if yours is missing that feature, upgrade to the latest firmware.

Range is not excellent as well as the connection quality/speed but for the price paid for this extender, its actually cheaper to buy a cheap router and add this product to cover the poor signal spots in your home.

The extender was easy to setup and the signal was strong

I would unplug the extender and then people would immediately be able to log back into the 5GHz line, so it was clearly the extender's issue

The coverage is great and now all my devices are running optimally throughout my home.

Working in the tech sector this extender has horrible coverage

It slowed my signal and gave me no greater coverage than I had previously

My wifi router is located upstairs and I use the range extender in my sunroom so that I get better coverage in my backyard

I set it up (which wasn’t easy) and found that, while it does extend the network, when I’m connected to the extension the speed drops so dramatically it’s almost as unusable as without it.

I don't know if the feature is really not supported and that's just false advertising or they don't know what they're talking about unfortunately

Confused devices while keeping same wifi name and password

If you know how to connect to a WiFi network or have ever ha to access your router to rename a network, you should be able to set this device up no problem

It is great for static devices (e.g. desktops) because if you move around with your phone for example, your phone will try to connect to the extender even when you’re inches from the actual/main router

If you want better speeds in a few years as higher speed wifi is becoming more common then buy a new router with all the money you saved.

My daughter was able to attend class with little to no connection issues.

I love that it has a LAN cable port, so i was able to hook into my home office computer and it resolved all of the connection issues i had on my zoom meetings
