    TracFone Bring Your Own Phone SIM Activation Kit

    • Sim card worked well.
    • Invalid sim card number
    • Sim card did not work
    • Not only card did not work, but when I called customer service, they said the phone was fine (an iPhone) and it was just the wrong card, but I needed to pay $32 for basic service and they would send a good card.
    • Sim card worked just fine, but my minutes from the old phone did not transfer

    • Very disappointing that after waiting over 24 hours for this to transfer information on to my new phone, and speaking to Rep with Tracfone, he determined the card was faulty.
    • When you try talking to Tracfone they tell you that you have the wrong card and need a new one.
    • He just had to deactivate the phone, reactivate it with the correct sim card and all would be fine.

    • So, looked to be either a programming issue on the tracfone side or another bad SIM card
    • In case you are wondering, this SIM has separate cards for GSM and CDMA so you can decide later which way you want to go.

    • Beware the sim card is for ATT only and will not work with Tmobile.
