This SD card fits in my Macbook Air 2013 SD card slot and works as advertised

I previously used a nifty mini-drive, which I found to have poor quality control (mine stuck out of my air vs. the "flush" fit nifty advertises among other things

Unfortunately it does have limitations as to what can be stored on it

I don't have to worry about connecting to my external drive as I've got this little item ready and waiting, as well as to hold extra media such as music or videos.

I'm familiar with the max transfer rates for USB 2.0 (about 30-40MBs) but unfortunately my write speed is hovering around a MUCH slower 8MB/s.
