I left it as ExFAT and due to this the files take up much more room on the JetDrive than on my hard disk; 40 gig of files ended up taking 70 gig of space on the JetDrive.

Thanks to this card, I moved a few large folders like Documents, Pictures and Movies off my hard disk and onto the card.

However, I'm constantly getting "disk not ejected properly" warnings to the point that the card is worthless to me (even if I didn't mind the warnings I'm not going to risk corrupting my photo library.!)

The consequences were horrible as I saved a few days of data (Because I didn't back up ) as Apple people erased its hard disk to make it functional again

I'm familiar with the max transfer rates for USB 2.0 (about 30-40MBs) but unfortunately my write speed is hovering around a MUCH slower 8MB/s.
