Second, I have to admit that the build quality isnt the best in the world, as it does feel like fairly cheap plastic and feels hollow

Cables fit tightly and it is made of good quality plastic.

Other people don't seem to have this problem, so I think poor quality control is the culprit

However, the price is right, the size and ease of use is nice, and the quality seems nice, so I bought a second one for my husband's computer
