The device works perfectly and flawlessly

The device is very much worth the investment.

This is a much better device than my previous USB 2.0 reader

Exceptional build quality, however it is a plasticky feeling device

But this is a PORTABLE, EXTERNAL device and the short cable keeps in line with that purpose so complaining about that would be like saying your toothbrush isn't long enough to reach your neighbor's mouth

I like it because it small, its cheap, and its unassuming---meaning no flashing lights, or big production, just a very simple, very efficient little device.

A great backup device that is plenty fast and easy to transport.

It is a two piece equipment (the reader and the short transmission cable) and I had no issues connecting the device as well as transferring my files

I wish I had read one of the already posted reviews about the device not being able to read regular SD and microSD at the same time as it took me some time to figure that out on my own after initially thinking the device was defective

If you have the need to periodically "dump cards" to your laptop/computer while on the job, this is the right device for you

However I would prefer the device to be one piece rather than two due to the difficulty of putting both at the same place

If I unplug and replug the unit back into my New Mac Pro, the device seems to work again (for a temp time)

It will work with USB 3.0 devices and is backwards compatible to USB 2.0

My camera only has a USB 2.0 interface, so this device makes the process a whole lot faster.

I got this little device in June 2015, and it worked great.

A really excellent device for newer computers without built-in readers.

My computer has trouble identifying the device n when it does find it the error message shows up to insert my media card.

Naturally I was not aware of this little "exception", but I live with it because this "exceptional" device has come to the rescue.

Besides the cheap plastic build that you'd expect with any other cheap, chinese-manufactured electronic device, the internals are not meant to last longer than a few years

Great device for reading cards you may have

This little device is a life saver!

Used today for the first time to transfer data off a compact flash device and it worked without a hitch.

I have only used this device to read SD cards and for that purpose it works very well.

I saw someone posted a couple of years ago that this device does not work with SDXC 64GB cards, well I just put that post to the test and mines works great, and it's super fast
