Transcend USB 3.0 Super Speed Multi-Card Reader for SD/SDHC/SDXC/MS/CF Cards (TS-RDF8W)

    • The device works perfectly and flawlessly
    • Great device
    • The device is very much worth the investment.
    • This is a much better device than my previous USB 2.0 reader
    • Exceptional build quality, however it is a plasticky feeling device
    • This is a great device!
    • But this is a PORTABLE, EXTERNAL device and the short cable keeps in line with that purpose so complaining about that would be like saying your toothbrush isn't long enough to reach your neighbor's mouth
    • This is really good and reliable device that works well for rather cheap.
    • Excellent device
    • I like it because it small, its cheap, and its unassuming---meaning no flashing lights, or big production, just a very simple, very efficient little device.
    • works great,better than expected,great device!
    • Gets the job done in a day and age that finds card readers and other input or export devices being removed from computers and compatible electronic devices
    • Device works great fits my needs fast and easily
    • A great backup device that is plenty fast and easy to transport.
    • It is a two piece equipment (the reader and the short transmission cable) and I had no issues connecting the device as well as transferring my files
    • I wish I had read one of the already posted reviews about the device not being able to read regular SD and microSD at the same time as it took me some time to figure that out on my own after initially thinking the device was defective
    • Convenient, quick and affordable device for accessing the many types of flash memory that folks might have laying around
    • If you have the need to periodically "dump cards" to your laptop/computer while on the job, this is the right device for you
    • However I would prefer the device to be one piece rather than two due to the difficulty of putting both at the same place
    • I can tell you from experience that it might not be the device - though your device could be defective - you must also consider the following
    • I srongly recomend this device
    • Isn't helpful if your device doesn't offer USB 3.0 like my old macbook
    • But this is a PORTABLE, EXTERNAL device and the short cable keeps in line with that purpose so complaining about that would be like saying your toothbrush isn't long enough to reach your neighbor's mouth
    • If I unplug and replug the unit back into my New Mac Pro, the device seems to work again (for a temp time)
    • A Very well performing device for it's price, which may be up 3 times the price of alternatives
    • Great device
    • It will work with USB 3.0 devices and is backwards compatible to USB 2.0
    • Love the device and the WARRANTY.
    • When I was finally able to select a group of files to copy, the device would stop working in the middle of the copy/paste operation, unable to find the remaining files
    • My camera only has a USB 2.0 interface, so this device makes the process a whole lot faster.
    • both slots work but not this device.
    • It's a handy little device to have as a mobile card reader, and is very fast at reading USB 3.0 speeds are no problem.
    • It is backward compatible with USB 2.0My laptop does not have a USB 3.0 port, and this device is backward compatible with my laptop.3.
    • I got this little device in June 2015, and it worked great.
    • A really excellent device for newer computers without built-in readers.
    • My computer has trouble identifying the device n when it does find it the error message shows up to insert my media card.
    • Nice little device that works perfectly
    • Naturally I was not aware of this little "exception", but I live with it because this "exceptional" device has come to the rescue.
    • Besides the cheap plastic build that you'd expect with any other cheap, chinese-manufactured electronic device, the internals are not meant to last longer than a few years
    • Great device for reading cards you may have
    • This little device is a life saver!
    • Used today for the first time to transfer data off a compact flash device and it worked without a hitch.
    • I have only used this device to read SD cards and for that purpose it works very well.
    • It is backward compatible with USB 2.0My laptop does not have a USB 3.0 port, and this device is backward compatible with my laptop.3.
    • It's not a beautiful device but it is well-designed and highly functional

    • I have two aviation GPS's that require frequent database updates, and this device has made my life easier.
    • Absolutely fantastic device.
    • This device is durable and reliable
    • When I was finally able to select a group of files to copy, the device would stop working in the middle of the copy/paste operation, unable to find the remaining files
    • woaaa, just amazing this little boy is fast D:
    • I saw someone posted a couple of years ago that this device does not work with SDXC 64GB cards, well I just put that post to the test and mines works great, and it's super fast
