TRENDnet AC2600 MU-MIMO, Wireless Gigabit Router, Equipped with Beamforming Antennas ideal for extreme 4K streaming and Lag Free gaming, TEW-827DRU

    • The web interface is straightforward and very full-featured
    • Initially, wired and wireless performance were both very good, and the TRENDnet firmware has some useful features, such as a live view of your network showing the current upload and download speeds of connected devices
    • Nonetheless, I had hoped that N300 would offer some significant difference in wireless signal--versus the TEW-711BR.Still, the gigabit switch is a great feature: Paradoxically, I've noted that wired gigabit routers tend to cost a great deal more than low-end wireless gigabit models.
    • There is both an easy user friendly interface for setting up the router with custom passwords and SSID's, as well as an advanced setup tab for the more complex seeming features such as the QoS, etc
    • A great feature-set, at least for a little while
    • The version 2 is less capable for the same price, I suggest you look elsewhere if the missing features are important to you.
    • At one point after some careful tweaking I managed a more respectable 30Mbit on 802.11n (ac performance not yet tested). The USB drive sharing was an attractive feature, sadly it does not work very well.
    • And in the end I think speed and signal strength are the most important features of a wireless router
    • If you're looking for an inexpensive router that is easy to install that has some nice features, this has it
    • It was easy to set up, has great features and performance
    • The smart connection feature is really helpful, especially when I'm gaming and everyone is home, I have data comsuming devices in my room alone
    • Good features, especially for the price
    • The web interface has many great features, including DMZ, port forwarding, access schedules, and only one major flaw.
    • Many other consumer-favored brands extract many more dollars for their better models featuring gigabit....
    • The "Guest" WiFi SSID is configurable separately, and it can have its own schedule, independent of the main SSID; which is a nice feature
    • , router wasn't a heat pump as some of the fast full features routers can be.
    • I tried using the original firmware provided by Trendnet, but the feature is so limited.
    • good product, good price, nice features in a compact router, excellent coverage wireless N. . . . . . .
    • easy setup and has nice features
    • which in my view has more features and works much better than the Trendnet firmware.
    • Feature wise, I use port forwarding, VPN and QOS
    • That's a great feature
    • but the builtin firmware is very simple to setup and provides enough features for me to get by at this point
    • After some back-and-forth with Trendnet tech support, it turns out that this feature is not available, even though it was mentioned in the documentation
    • The version 2 is less capable for the same price, I suggest you look elsewhere if the missing features are important to you.
    • All common features are available.
    • I don't use the USB 3.0 port for a NAS and don't plan to but CNET did not review that feature of this router very well
    • I havent used all the features but works pretty well
    • Multiple radios is a great feature.
    • Advanced features need to be fine tuned.
    • The tri-band is a nice feature
    • I have all the nice features of DD-WRT provided
    • It is easy to set-up (even if you are not very tech savvy) and supports basic features you would need to get a home network by.
    • I like the feature to setup a guest network yet restrict access as you choose
    • Some other nice features include a guest network where you can set a different password for guests
    • This is a great feature, as most new devices that you buy will be capable of connecting on the wireless AC band
    • A nice feature with this router is the USB share port and the FTP share server
    • I have no experience with the product's stock firmware beyond determining that it is not as feature-rich as DD-WRT and therefore doesn't meet my needs
    • Good feature set and wired connectivity
    • Awesome router with greater features and range
    • and I love the guest wifi feature for added security!
    • I like the feature to setup a guest network yet restrict access as you choose
    • I wanted an AC router and chose this one based on good reviews, features, a slim profile, and DD-WRT compatibility
    • Pros: Gig-E ports, compact, light, cool
    • I would prefer to have our money refunded as I don’t have much faith that the replacement router will work any better than the first one we had.
    • Her laptop is likewise as fast as it was if not faster.
    • The speeds on the 5 g network are as fast as when I'm wired up
    • But setting the schedules needed were next to impossible t after over two hours of trying, and I'm not exactly a novice
    • n’t work at all now.
    • Pros: Gig-E ports, compact, light, cool
