Specifically, the router cannot properly address wireless devices which have a static IP address.

Not being able to see what IP address's are currently in use makes it very difficult to assign static IP's for each devise on the network

Reserved IP did not work at all

After fooling with this problem for over two hours, I finally wrote down all of the WAN connection parameters (from a reboot after hard reset) and configured the router for a static IP address WITH THE SETTINGS THAT I HAD RECORDED

The interface to change the settings is horrid, finding the ‘release/renew’ ip was near impossible

As it stands now, I'll keep it, use it with the static iP workaround, and HOPE that new firmware fixes the problem...eventually.

You can setup static IPs to utilize a VPN (if not familiar this would allow you to connect anywhere in the world through the static IP address through the internet which you can connect to your personal network or just use your own personal internet, essentially this is very secure)

It has to be the DHCP server, since the only other option is none, so everything else connected to the router would have to be a static assigned IP.

The router was not getting an IP address like the computer did when I connected it.

I had to set the routers ip as static and clone a Mac address and set up my modem to have cascading router and subnetwork

since i change my old router with this one i no longer have coverage problems inside my house

Most important I no longer get any dropped connections or lag and speeds are super fast and flawless
