Don't have any devices that us AC, but the wireless N range is better with this wireless router than it was with my previous one.

Once I got past the "One or more network protocols are missing on this computer" problem with the help of TrendNet support, the router has worked fine - greatly extending the range of my old router and providing band separation for several uses / users (though the 5 GHz band range is less that I am getting from the 2.4 GHz band)

It took six hours and six phone calls to get the wireless feature to work, and it still only works about half the time with poor range compared to my six-year-old G-class router, and I have to restart it many times each day because the connection keeps dying.

Now that it is in full operation it is faster than a jet plane and the range is excellent

No drop outs and range is excellent for internal antenna.

You would probably have to get an expensive 802.11ac router or maybe one of the most expensive 802.11n routers to get much better range or throughput in a single band, so if you need better WiFi coverage just get a good repeater.

The only downside I can think of is the range, I live in a small apartment and the signal is very low in some of the corners, but to be fair, there are 2 concrete walls in between, if you have a big home and more than two concrete walls this might not be the product for youPrice-wise, and based on my needs this is a 5 stars product.
