Very fast speed when near router

Fast speeds on 5GHZ

I was in the process of upgrading my entire network to a gigabit network and improve wireless speeds around my house

The 5ghz "N" speeds were good at 300Mbps, the "AC" speeds varied widely from 585 to 780Mbps with out moving my device.

The Trendnet unit doesn't give me greater coverage and in many cases the speeds are slower than I registered on my TW unit.

Spent HOURS trying to make this router work properly with the right speeds while it regularly just didn't work.

I had to turn off the routers smart connect in order to connect my internal dual band Asus PCI-E-AC68 NIC at a good connection speed.
