Love the cover over the switch.

My only gripe is there is a clear plastic cover over the switch that snaps shut to protect the switch

The plastic cover for the switch is unnecessary.

I like the cover for the power switch as well, because of it's mounted location on a table leg I could accidentally turn it off if it didn't have a cover.

I really like the cover on the switch because now I won't accidentally bump it and turn everything off (yes, it has happened before)

Also, the power strip I received has a protective switch cover that is not pictured either.

For the time being, each time I use the switch I have to open the clear plastic cover, which is not too convenient.

The cover on the switch would be useful for classroom areas where you want to prevent accidental or people shutting it off easily.
