Our test at 50 ft worked great.

Initial setup was over 120 ft, however intermittent signal loss, luckily was able to eliminate about 35ft of excess cabling, work perfect after that.

I already had cat5e cable in my walls between the stereo and the TV (about 40 ft worth

I used 50ft of Cat 6 cable, very easy to connect
