    Tripp Lite HDMI over Dual Cat5/Cat6 Extender Wall Plate Kit with Transmitter and Receiver, TAA (P167-000)

    • Use good quality CAT6 cable and don't use a cable stripper, I found it had nicked a couple of the
    • I installed this kit using two 35-foot 23AWG shielded CAT6 cables, and it provides excellent picture quality.
    • Seemed like it shouldnt affect signal quality
    • Be sure you have a good quality cables
    • They describe problems when untwisting the wires at the ends to make the connections and in general the poor quality of bulk CAT 6 cable
    • In general, as long as you have good quality Cat5e or better rated cable, this should work perfectly.=======================================UPDATE:
    • Very Poor Quality, others dont require you to set the gain for cable length... and get this for a 7ft cable it needed the gain about 1/3!
    • All work with very good video quality
    • You just punch down A to A, B to B.They give you a cheap punch down tool with the package--i didn't use this, as i have a professional punchdown tool, but the punch down tool they give you has a nice little wire stripper in it to remove the outside sheath from the cat6.Very nice product.
    • I needed to extend one of my cable boxes from the other room as I didn't want to pay for another box, was doubtful of running it through my cat5 cable runs in my house over almost 50 feet of cable, but these little boxes exceeded my expectation for picture quality, have it connected to a 49" lcd tv and looks as good as if it was plugged in directly to the cable box.
