These wall plates get a lot of questionable reviews, and I was hesitant to order.

I read a lot of reviews before I buy something, and I'm so glad this one has such excellent reviews because it really fits so well into my system that I couldn't live without it.

I don't like giving bad reviews, but in this case the Tripp Lite product just didn't work out for me.

I am editing this review, I got my replacement and hooked it up and it seems to be working great now, I will not apologize for the bad review because the first one DEFINATELY did not work, and Tripp Lite still has never got back to me, but all is well

It is a bit complicated, and I suspect that faulty installation, NOT faulty manufacturing, is to blame for most of the negative reviews.
