I am editing this review, I got my replacement and hooked it up and it seems to be working great now, I will not apologize for the bad review because the first one DEFINATELY did not work, and Tripp Lite still has never got back to me, but all is well

Solid wires work better with punch-downs - critical in my view as the wires don't change shape.5) Equal lengths of CAT6 are recommended

The powered one is working great to send an HDMI signal from a professional video camera to a professional projector without fail or flaw.

Initial setup was over 120 ft, however intermittent signal loss, luckily was able to eliminate about 35ft of excess cabling, work perfect after that.

Install document needs some updates but onablesce installed the HDMI signal works great across the Cat6 cables No need to buy pre-terminated cables

After following recommended sequence worked like a charm.

Punch tool worked great for stripping wire and connecting

50-ft CAT5e, factory terminated cable, and everything seems to be working great: awesome, clean, jitter-free picture

These worked very well for 30 months and then the receiver unit quit.
