Tripp Lite Keyspan High-Speed USB to Serial Adapter, PC & Mac (USA-19HS)

    • I purchased this specific model to interface with an older model Roland plotter from an IMAC - it may well work but the one I received from Amazon was DEAD AS A DOORNAIL
    • Easy connect, simple driver installation and it is working just fine.
    • works perfect.
    • This works wonders for accessing older serial interface based devices.
    • It is the only one that worked, hassle free.
    • Just what I needed works well.
    • Included drivers work well, had the device working within minutes.
    • I have found this works great working with a computer, or other devices that have their negative side of their power supply tied to the AC neutral.
    • Installation went without a hitch and it has worked great from the beginning.
    • This works great for Console access to Cisco devices.
    • Pro (use either CoolTerm or ZOC/Pro for a terminal program) for gear config/administration, it does work good with Windows.
    • Solid, reliable work-horse.
    • Device works flawless and problem free.
    • This worked great for our vinyl cutter.
    • It works great with all of my computers, even my macbook pro works great with it.
    • Device works flawless and problem free.
    • The PL2303 based devices work well with the open source drivers out
    • This works great to talk to legacy Programmable Logic Controllers on RS-232 ports
    • well working unit to allow the connection of serial devices to computers that only have USB ports
    • Since the adapters still work fine except for the USB port, I simply desoldered the cheap-o port from each of the new adapters and replaced it with an FCI port (FCI PN 61729-1011BLF -- 54 cents each)
    • I know this cable is much more expensive that the cheap-o ones you find elsewhere, but if you're a Mac user, don't waste your time with any other USB-serial cable.
