TurboTax Deluxe Tax Software 2017 Fed + Efile + State PC/MAC Disc [Amazon Exclusive]

    • I had problems filing my one “free” state filing and after hours on the phone with several reps, they all told me Amazon repackages the CDs and someone before me already used the code for the state filing
    • State refunds from last year:
    • Although prime package cover free state e-
    • Would be nice if the "Free State return" also included the cost to e-file the state return rather than being a separate charge.
    • Other than that, I feel the premier version should include one free state e-file.
    • Advertised to include a free state return, but for some reason my disc did not
    • Also, even though a free state download is included, there is a fee to efile state returns
    • It only included the free federal e-filing and not the state
    • My state, Ohio, is notorious for abusing couples who file jointly.
    • Most states, including mine, offer free online efiling, so I never use the “free” state download.
    • Last year's state refund imported incorrectly into my return this year, but worse than that
    • The first the form, “Keep Up To Date with Tax Law”, still after years of complaining that the form will not accommodate international format within the State, Zip or Phone number, it has not been update to allow free form format.
    • I finally efiled only my federal form and printed out my state and supporting documents and snail mailed it.
    • This version includes one e-file and one state, but you can easily pay for another e-file, as well as another state.
    • I was very disappointed to discover that this premier edition did not include a free state filing
    • So I had to mail state tax to out of state, so no free state filing, which is part is included with cost.
    • I'm not a fan of the "submit your taxes for free" and then in the fine print "State submissions not included".
    • However, there was free state filing with Turbo Tax for a certain period of time and this product was ineligible for that as well...which is upsetting
    • One state was free and when it asked if I had a W2 from another state I simply selected yes and entered my CC information to add it
    • All was well until my State return, which I had to pay an additional $24.95 to efile, rejected
    • You get one free state
    • Product should have more free State efiles or else reduce the price
    • I should have read the fine print, but I have been purchasing the premier version for the last 4-5 years and just assumed that this year’s version also included one free state E-file
    • However, I always forget when it is advertised FREE STATE RETURN, that the program part is free but filing is not.
    • TT Premier includes one free state download, and Federal e-filing.
    • It says it includes 1 free state file, but I see no free state return at all, and the state filing fee is 24.99, not 19.99 written on the package
    • I am confident it will do as well as in the past.
    • It works as what it says
    • good as always
    • The soft ware was easy to install and worked as I thought it would.
    • The 2017 program retains the interactive, step-by-step interface ("interview") from previous years, prompting you for information on various tax topics as you work through them.
    • Great as always
    • Good as always
    • Free federal and state e-filing
    • TT simplifies tax preparation, allows for easy e-filing, and checks the math.
    • It only included the free federal e-filing and not the state
    • Turbo Tax 2017 for taxes will be perfect, easy, and Federal E-file for taxes!
    • My beef with TurboTax is that they advertise FREE e-filing if you meet some criteria
