Thinking that I was better off actually trusting Turtle Beach and reviews that they are a decent set of gaming cans
-
Low and behold to my ultimate despair, the second set of headphones were dead
-
The likelihood of me receiving 2 defective sets in a row is near infinite unless the whole line suffers from this problem.
-
But the bass and depth of sound isn’t as good as the Turtle Beach set
-
I have to say that I really love this set of headphones.
-
My 85 yr old father bought a set after I did and just loves them
-
Love and enjoy my set
-
I'm just saying if you want a sick set of gaming phones look no further
-
I really wanted to like this set, I wanted to give Turtle Beach the benefit of the doubt after previous let downs by other "flagship" models they manufacture
-
If not for the discomfort issue, I may have kept the set I tested, especially with the goodies that come with the Elite program, beginning with a 24 month warranty, concierge phone number, free t-shirt or hoody, and two free sets of custom ear plates.
-
To buy a decent set of bluetooth over the ear with noise cancellation/reduction and a set of surround gaming headphones would put you at or above this level and the fact I can get all of this out of one package is awesome
-
And I don't think I have a defective set
-
Once you find the right pre-sets, you will be very happy.
-
I recently purchased a set of these to use with an Xbox one (yes they work with it, if you have the ms stereo headset adapter)
-
This is a VERY nice set of gaming headphones.
-
He loves his set but he is having some issues with controlling his soundbar when he is not using his headset plus he can't answer calls and hear music
-
many early reviews of that one said it was an issue, then some claimed it was fixed; my set doesn't have any hiss so it was indeed fixed)
-
The first two sets were fantastic
-
Love this set easy to use and ready to go on my PS4 LOVE IT!!
-
To those of you who got a set of these and love them, I'm jealous!
-
These are overall a great set of headphones
-
but i couldnt find the right setting for my game
-
Great solid set of headphones and even at $300, I think they are a great value.
-
Both headsets claim to be 7.1 but where the A50’s are much louder the 800’s, the 800’s shine in the quality and clarity of sound
-
First I am going to touch on the Astro A50’s and their positives that out weight the 800’s
-
I will update in a years time on these with further thoughts on these elite 800’s
-
These to me are the features that outshine the 800’s when directly comparing the two.1
-
I got some ear covers (to replace the plates on there now) and a free t-shirt
-
