First looking for a good quad band antenna, good luck.
-
I’m using a DBJ-1 antenna for UHF/VHF testing, however will run it through a duplexer and try out a suitable antenna for the lower bands as well
-
The only problem is having enough antennas to handle the frequency coverage.
-
Great radio, needs a great antenna.

(So I use a handheld Wouxun connected to a portable antenna)
-
But it has worked really well especially with the Diamond CR-8900 antenna on my pickup truck
-
Good coax and a good antenna can make a mediocre radio sound fantastic and poor coax and antenna can make the best radio sound terrible
-
It is working great and my next step is to buy a good antenna to optimize the power and reception, since I'm going to use theTH -9800 as a base transceiver.
-
So far, the transceiver is working as it should.
