Great build quality.

Not only was it ready to play out of the box, but the sound is fantastic, the player assembled together was beautiful, and the Ortofon 2M Red cartridge was amazing quality which allows me to hear every record clearly

Great quality and sound for the amazing price!

This table would qualify as a device with better quality manufacture and parts than the consumer stuff you'd see at a Best Buy (ie Audio Technica and those like it).

Ortofon 2M Blue cart, wood plinth, acrylic platter, and cue lever costs around $600, and it's very competitive in quality, especially sound quality, with other tables in that price range.

I think that is a grossly unfair label to place on this turntable...this turntable is not only audiophile quality, easy to use, ready to play out of the box, but very much compares and performs to the manual belt-drive turntables offered by the likes of Music Hall, Project, Thorens, and rivals the classic belt drive audiophile turntables of the past, including a Sansui model my father still has to this day

and if your looking for affordable quality I highly recommend this.

The price is a little hefty and can receive more for less on the U-Turn website as this one does not come with the Ortofon 2M Red, but the quality is worth it

But I ended up buying a more expensive Budgie vacuum tube pre-amp which definitely brings that warm analog sound quality
