I would say the GUI is still lacking a bit and is not able to configure all of the advanced features however the GUI is quite capable of configuring all of the basic functions.

it's true that this thing is a bit tricky to setup if you're not used to all the settings, features, and terminology

UI is a bit hard to use and one of my settings didn't take after reboot.

It is a very powerful router, but does require a good bit of networking knowledge to get set up properly; however, the newest firmware version does include wizards that make this process much easier

The Vyatta documentation is a bit tricky to locate, but the command line is required to unlock this guy's full potential.

Downside is it lasted 6 months before the flash corrupted & started getting I/O errors.
