Ubiquiti EdgeMax EdgeRouter Lite ERLite-3 512MB Memory 3 Ethernet Ports Router

    • If you're thinking this device is too good to be true for the price, you're right.
    • So, its a solid device.
    • It's an amazing device
    • (e.g. Ubiquity WAPs).I had a need for something better than the average consumer grade device - I have about 30 devices on my network when you factor in personal & work laptops for both the wife and I, 2-3 wireless devices each (phones, tablets), 2 printers, network storage, a few media streaming devices, a lab setup for work with 5-10 hosts, and various other guests that use the network when they are here
    • This device is unreliable
    • I and am hoping to like these devices as they are very inexpensive
    • As long as you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, borrowing that powder blue Cisco serial console cable from work or gettin' your SSH on, this is really an amazing device
    • Function wise, perfect device
    • I'm absolutely in love with Ubiquiti products after this wonderful little device
    • I find support is as useless as the device
    • These are very cool fatbox router/firewall device, I upgraded the firmware to v1.8 and then proceeded to run the wizard to have a single wan and dual LAN ports
    • Love these devices
    • I've loved using this device, but can't have it getting in the way of my gigabit pipe
    • This device is AWESOME!The
    • I just decided that this device and EdgeOS, especially its GUI is simply not mature enough for me and will consume much more of my time that I can use to learn something else
    • The device works great but requires nerdiness needed to operate it to achieve full potential.
    • Where an R6300, R6300v2, and R8000 all failed, this device not only instantly solved all my issues, but it was a breeze to set up!Just make sure you update your firmware to the latest version first, as this makes things significantly easier.
    • I'm very glad I chose the Ubiquiti device based on this devices amazing speed, community based support, active updates, and the
    • EdgeRouter Light is a fun little device that is capable of ton more than the average consumer level priced router.
    • Between the example configuration on the Ubiquiti website and the wizards available in the 1.6 firmware, even a fairly inexperienced user can get the router online -- though I wouldn't recommend this device for a person who's looking for a Linksys-style "plug and play" experience
    • I was looking for a clean and simple device to provide VPN Tunnel functionality between a couple of sites - initially two residential premises and then, based on experience, between several sites for a small SMB.I'm not going to go into extensive detail, everything has been said in previous reviews in terms of documentation, the community, etc.
    • This device has no problem with the high bandwidth
    • I find support is as useless as the device
    • All features, including incredibly powerful ones, are available in the GUI on their other devices (some of which I've posted brief reviews on here at Amazon, all of which I've been exceedingly happy with). On this device, probably because of it's Vyatta underpinnings, it doesn't seem like Ubiquiti has finished the GUI yet.
    • With home internet speeds climbing typical home routers were struggling to keep up however this device has no problem keeping up.
    • Excellent device
    • All in all, this is an amazing little device, and practically a steal at around $100 USD
    • Awesome device for < $100.
    • It also has less ports that are not PoE.It appears that most of the owners of EdgeRouter that are so excited with this product are folks coming from unreliable home-grade devices
    • This device is not useful for a typical home or small business
    • Really great device, just what I've been looking for to replace an aging gateway for some time
    • I will recommend this device, provided: 1
    • You get a highly customizable, extremely fast device with enterprise-level features (VLANs, IPsec tunnels, OSPF, and full ipv6 support, to name a few) at the cost of a consumer-level device
    • This tiny powerhouse hooks up all the devices in home (set before our switch) and doesn't miss a beat.
    • Great device
    • So from a performance and robustness of the base operating system, and its underlying hardware, perspective, this device is nearly flawless
    • Downside is it lasted 6 months before the flash corrupted & started getting I/O errors.
