I've worked with networks and computers since DOS 3.2, but running the setup wizard for the basic configuration with a static internet IP still fails miserably.

If you're on a connection with a dynamic Ip, that won't work.

I was able to set it up with firewall, port forwarding and static IP assignments with the GUI menus

Once I moved and went to a static internet IP, it became pure evil

Before the router arrived I downloaded the latest firmware 1.6.0 at this writing and set a static IP on my computer

Downside is it lasted 6 months before the flash corrupted & started getting I/O errors.
