One nice thing: the device runs Debian, and allows full command-line access via console or SSH/telnet
-
That’s how good this thing is
-
There were a few things harder to find initially, like assigning a static IP to some devices
-
But, this thing is astonishingly affordable
-
I'm running 2 separate IP subnets with about 40 devices attached - this thing does not even break a sweat routing packets
-
If you know why this thing is awesome (super straighforward fast ROUTER for dirt cheap) then buy it already!
-
This device does so many great things for a budget priced product.
-
Take advantage of the fact that you can do cool things with a third port (easiest separate WiFi network evar, most
-
and I didn't want to use half of my firewall've CPU resources doing PPPoE encapsulation when it could be doing more useful things
-
Cant say enough good things about these routers
-
This thing is fast and comes in such a small package
-
For over a year this thing performed like a rockstar
-
First actual router I have ever bought, this thing is amazing!
-
Can't say enough good things about this device.
-
I want to like this thing, I really do
-
If you know what you're doing this thing is amazing
-
I love this thing.
-
I spent 4 hours on this stupid thing and it still doesn't
-
This thing is fast!
-
This thing is awesome for any power user
-
Love this thing.
-
But, for a branch office or home network these things are great
-
About the only thing you lose when going with this over other more enterprise-level companies is the support; online support forums are the preferred method of communication, and I've not heard some great things about the paid support options
-
The greatest thing about it though is the fast backplane
-
The template/wizards make setting the device up to do what you want rather simple, but there is always a CLI ready for those that need to do more complex things.

I very well might have spent the extra 50% to get the Ubiquiti TS-5-POE
