My only regret after purchasing this unit is the fact that I wish I had more ports

so I am not 100% sure on how much hotter/cooler this unit runs when compared to others, but wanted to make a note of it anyways

I wanted to post some information I gathered on most of the UniFi switches to help people purchase the right unit

This unit works great.

That said here are my thoughts:8 Port 12W - a great little unit, especially in my case where I have larger PoE switches deployed

The second is this unit gets AMAZINGLY hot

The fan is positioned so that the air flow covers both units from the top of the 60W to the bottom of the 150W and does an excellent job of cooling both units.

I have not seen any posts about failed units and I haven't had any issue with mine even with the exterior case temp at 125 degrees when my garage ambient was well over 100

I'm really shocked at how hot this unit runs

Three months in and this unit is working great
