The price is steep, but these are my favorite pens and I can't buy a whole box of purple anywhere else.

Unlike cheap ball points, this pen makes writing effortless and less stressful on your fingers

The designation "fine-point" is misleading: it may be fine for Uni-Ball, but it creates a broader stoke than, say, a Pilot G-2

Not an especially fine point, more of an average point IMO.

If you're looking for a REALLY fine point, this isn't the pen for you.

I have used these pens for several years and always enjoy the feel and ink flow

They last twice or thrice as long as the cheap ones and contain an ink reservoir making them akin to a fountain pin, offering a darker more flowing ink to paper than a mere ballpoint

They have such a smooth flow on paper and the ink does not bleed or leak out

I purchased these pens because I like the unusual colors.

Vivid colors, and pretty inky, so it will probably bleed through your paper unless you buy bleed-resistant paper.

Please be advised that these colors are not as dark as one might assume

These are the worst-writing pens ... they skipped ink a lot and the overall quality was very disappointing.

My office used them to address post cards to prospective students, which is utterly grueling work, but these pens were perfect for hours of condensed and repetitive writing due to the easy flow of the ink and the final result looked amazingly professional.

Fortunately, this inexpensive pen's best quality is probably also the most important:

Hard to write, no smoothness, does not glide, scratching paper, poor quality tip made, lost uni-ball vision goodwill, lost your face

They are the perfect color, they write smoothly, but with enough friction (the friction of the pen on paper affects the quality of my handwriting, and these are perfect)

These are my absolute favorite pens and I'd suggest them to anyone looking for good quality smooth writing.

I guess for 5 pens they are a bit pricey, but if you think about it they are good quality pens.

The ink is dark and the line it makes a good width, not to thick or thin

It writes a nice, dark, skip-free line and dries quickly enough for me (a lefty) so as to avoid smudging
