    Uniden BCD436HP HomePatrol Series Digital Handheld Scanner. TrunkTracker V, Simple Programming, S.A.M.E. Emergency/Weather Alert, Covers USA and Canada

    • unit stops working and shuts off at 3.1 volts can't be set any lower
    • I know this is a great product b/c several of my friends have them, with that being said, this unit has been very difficult to program and is not the user friendly item it claims be

    • You could stop right there and enjoy this scanner as is, but if you like to tinker and customize, this unit will accommodate you on that front as well, with a whole host of user programmable features
    • The one complaint is if you plug in the USB cable to a USB charger the batteries only charge if the unit is off but it will work on just the cable when plugged in
