    • Works in any environment (had it in -20 farenheit on batteries and worked fine).
    • The radio works very well in the field and has good RF rejection.

    • This radio scanner has been working great for listening to BNSF and Amtrak railroad radio in the Sodo area of Seattle, and for listening to the crew (engineer and conductor mostly) talking while riding Amtrak trains
    • I kept it in a Crown Royal bag to keep it protected in the center console of my car, I didn't use it a great deal but after a year I was up in Las Vegas and stopped by the airport to listen to the air traffic, damn radio looked like it was working but no sound
