Works in any environment (had it in -20 farenheit on batteries and worked fine).

The radio works very well in the field and has good RF rejection.

I got everything in the box, probably tighter wrapped than original, but in great working condition and no blemish.

I tried reviewing the Manuel and searched Google for help, well the instructions to unlock the channels dis NOT work.

This radio scanner has been working great for listening to BNSF and Amtrak railroad radio in the Sodo area of Seattle, and for listening to the crew (engineer and conductor mostly) talking while riding Amtrak trains

I kept it in a Crown Royal bag to keep it protected in the center console of my car, I didn't use it a great deal but after a year I was up in Las Vegas and stopped by the airport to listen to the air traffic, damn radio looked like it was working but no sound

there is not a thing i can find not to like with this radio works very well at pulling in stations

Not ideal for civil aviation frequencies, I'm working at ORD in an elevated position with line of sight to both towers and the 2/3rds of the airport.

This is a great product works great getting it linked to the computer to program gor the first time was a little hard

offered to send me a email copy of the same instructions that weren't working and then hung up.

The unit itself is easy to program once the kinks are worked out, which was nearly three hours.
