I didn't get the actual distance on the city speeding trap, but both the Uniden and RAD450 were equal distances and gave enough warning to slow down

While the Whistler products usually give adequate warning of police radar, the Unidens give significantly more range and are far more sensitive to threats where the police radar is pointed at an angle to your line of travel or the opposite direction instead of directly at your oncoming vehicle.
