I do get the occasional false alarm when in town even while on city mode, but this thing REALLY shines on the open highway

Now with the extreme range and sensitivity false alarms can be a nusance

I also work near an airport with a ton of signals flying around so no false alarms is really nice compared to the last unit I had which I won't name

The top story, though, is the reduction of false alarms on the highway

I ended up disabling X and K band, as I'm in California and those are almost exclusively false alarms unless you're in Orange County (in which case turn K band on again).
